In January of 2026, Bethlehem, NH resident Renee Blacken set off from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands alone in a wooden rowboat, without a chase boat, to cross the Atlantic Ocean in its entirety as a part of an event called The Atlantic Dash. Presented by the New Hampshire Society of Genealogists, this engaging program uses a dramatic 1788 tavern killing in New Durham to show how genealogists uncover the stories from the past. Veterans and First Responders Art Program
The Veterans & First Responders Art Program is a free new program of the Arts Council of Tamworth in partnership with the Tamworth Community Nurse Association, Harbor Care, Hidden Battles Foundation, and the Carroll County Veterans Coalition.
